The HND yr.2 builds upon the HNC/HND yr.1, and is made up of 120 credits and encourages students to further specialise and refine their individual practices, in industry related design contexts, building a portfolio and personal skill profile that meets the needs of progression to continued study or employment – students have gained first prize for three years running at the prestigious Professional Clothing Industry Association Worldwide award (PCIAW) an international competition for HE institutions, and the Bradford Textiles Competition.
