The HNC is a stand-alone qualification, or studied as yr. 1 of a 2-year HND, and features a broad selection of units, (120 credits in all). Encouraging ideas development across subjects with scope to explore areas such as interior design and product design, lighting, furniture and homeware. Students engage with methodologies for ideas generation and strategies for contemporary making with new materials, supported by workshops delivered by guest lecturers.
